안녕하세요 여러분! Hello everyone!

Hello and welcome to my blog where I’m going to share my Korean language and culture studies, I wanted to start blogging years ago but I never knew what I wanted to write about, but now I have something what I have been enjoying since 2014.

In 2014 I was desperate to do something new, something challenging, so I searched “How to learn Korean” from google and I found this picture about how to learn Korean language in 15 minutes, so I wanted to give it a try. After few days it started to be so fun that I ordered a book about Hangeul, the Korean alphabet which I did learn pretty quickly. This is something new, this is really fun and it’s also really challenging. I kept going and now it’s the end of 2018 and I’m going to start doing this blog posting about how my studies are going and how I’m improving my skill.

My goal for 2019 is TOPIK (Test of Proficiency in Korean), It’s my first big challenge, so I could see where I’m going with my studies. I’m confident that I can pass the first exam so I can start thinking about the future, how to get to a school in Korea and start learning language even more efficiently. I also want to start sharing my studies in here, like showing my writing and pronounce practice, which is going to give me more motivation to keep going with my dream! Wait a minute.. with my dream ? What is my dream ? it’s definitely something what I can do with my learned language, maybe it’s a job as a translator or teacher or maybe I will start my own company which includes Korean language, write a book or be a movie star? who knows, but I definitely want to learn to speak Korean, because hey that’s one of my dreams! and you can have a lots of dreams, that’s always better! Also learning a language is really great way to keep myself going 110% with life and maintaining my dreams!

By the way! Do you like food ? because I love Korean food, especially Kimchi 김치 yumm~ while I have been studying the language I’ve also have been making some Korean food and snacks. Cooking and baking is great hobby too, so I started to learn some Korean food recipes, I will continue learning more recipes in the future! Here is some pictures what I have done.

Let’s continue with my dreams little more, so I started learning Korean myself at 2014, I bought some books about grammar, started watching more Korean TV and listening Korean music. I visited Korea in 2017, which was my first big dream about Korea and it’s culture, after the trip I started studying like a machine, my next goal was to understand the language even more and I wanted to learn how to pronounce better, so I started to learn pronouncing with pen in my mouth (It actually works). In 2017 I didn’t have many breaks from studying, I could say 2017 was almost only studying about the language, later on I even moved so that I could start going for a Korean language class. I also have made friends from Korea who have always been so helpful and kind for me, I’m so thankful about that. 정말 감사합니다. 2018 I have been still studying because my goal is to be ready for TOPIK in 2019, but there has been this feeling of missing something, so I started to think about some kind of diary or blogging about my progress going towards to my dreams and now I’m writing this blog and planning to visit Korea again in 2019, hopefully someday I can live there couple of years, so I could continue my studies in a Korean school, which would be another dream to catch to my collections!

Thank you for reading my first blog post! Let’s go I’m 110% ready for 2019!
